JOB SUMMARY:
Medi Linx Laboratory is seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Assistant Manager to support our clinical laboratory operations. The role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of laboratory reagents, diagnostic kits, medical supplies, and equipment, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee day-to-day procurement activities for laboratory consumables, reagents, diagnostic kits, medical supplies, and equipment. Source, evaluate, accredit, and manage reliable suppliers in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, service agreements, and purchasing terms with vendors. Collaborate with laboratory and operations teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure proper procurement, handling, and storage of temperature-sensitive and critical laboratory supplies. Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, expiries, and overstocking.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation for audits, compliance, and reporting requirements. Assist in procurement budget planning, cost control initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience in vendor management and strategic sourcing. Lead and support bidding and tendering processes for procurement requirements.
- Develop and streamline procurement-related business processes to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Demonstrate operational excellence by ensuring procurement activities align with the high-demand requirements of laboratory operations.
- Capability in business process development and streamlining. And demonstrated commitment to operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive end-to-end procurement experience, preferably in healthcare or clinical laboratory operations.
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience, with demonstrated skills in managing and developing people.
- Full knowledge and understanding of the high-demand requirements of laboratory operations.
- Amenable to work 100% onsite in Makati Office.
