JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Training Officer who will be responsible for driving the learning and professional development of Clinical Laboratory personnel. The role focuses on developing and implementing effective training programs that strengthen employees’ skills and knowledge while supporting the continuous improvement and quality of Clinical Laboratory services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs for Clinical Laboratory personnel.
- Assess training and development needs in coordination with Unit Heads and Officers.
- Review, propose, and validate unit-specific training programs.
- Monitor the training progress and competency development of Clinical Laboratory personnel.
- Maintain accurate and updated training records and documentation.
- Lead the implementation of mandatory, proficiency, technical, and skills development training.
- Keep updated on relevant information and practices to ensure personnel competencies remain current.
- Recommend initiatives to minimize patient-related incidents associated with staff competency.
- Support continuous improvement, quality assurance and quality control, risk assessment, safety, and performance management initiatives.
- Collaborate with Laboratory leadership and other stakeholders to ensure training programs are aligned with organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and a Licensed/Registered Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Minimum of 5-8 years laboratory experience, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in local and international accreditation standards, with relevant technical training in Clinical Laboratory operations, and understanding in QA/QC standards, laboratory safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- If selected for the role, the candidate will be assigned to one of our partnered hospital in Makati.
