Test Information:
Creatine Phospokinase MB Isoenzyme (CPK-MB Isoenzyme or CK-MB Isoenzyme) represents a significant fraction of creatine kinase present in myocardial tissue and lower levels in other tissues. In the absence of major muscle trauma, it may be indicative of cardiac damage, and myocardial infarction. This assay includes Total CPK.
