Notes:
To obtain optimal results, it is recommended to separate plasma from whole blood within 15 minutes from the time of collection; aliquoted specimen must be transported within 3 hours from the time of collection.
- However, if delay in transportation occurs, it is vital to follow the stipulated storage and stability. Specimen received beyond the stipulated storage and stability is considered “sub-optimal” in nature.
- For FROZEN specimen, send specimen on running day prior to cut-off period; ONE TIME THAWING ONLY.
