Osteocalcin

Test Information:
Osteocalcin is used in monitoring and assessing effectiveness of antiresorptive therapy in patients treated for osteopenia, osteoporosis, Paget’s disease, or other disorders in which osteocalcin levels are elevated.

Notes:
1. Pre-warmed samples is not accepted
2. Samples may not be taken from patients receiving therapy with high biotin doses greater than 5mg per day or at least 8 hours from last biotin administration.
