Test Information:
This test is used as a quantitative determination of neutralizing antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in human serum. It is used as an aid in identifying individuals with an adaptive immune response to SARS-CoV-2, indicating recent or prior infection. SARS-CoV-2 NAbs level in serum correlates with protective immune response in individuals who have recovered from SARS-CoV-2 infection and reflect herd immunity at a population level, informing clinical management of patients with past or ongoing COVID-19 infection.
